It is hard to find open shops in noon time, because local people take a noon break at this time. This can be a good opportunity for you to eat a comfortable lunch.

Malaga is also a preferred place for Golf players. It hosts many families who go there and have fun in golf fields. Besides you would see carting, safari, parks and gardens waiting for you. For young people, especially Puerto Marina and Puerto Banus is adviced. Both places have modern discos and bars. The entertainment starts after half past twelve at night and continues till morning.

Recently Malaga has become a preferred place for shopping like the streets in Seville and London. Larios street would be a good choice to start shopping. Because it is the intersection point for many streets and it is just 100 metres far away from the most important cathedral of the city.

DRIVING TIPS IN MALAGA

Speed Limits

Motorway: 120 km / h
Open Road: 90 - 100 km / H
Town: 50 km / h
Alcohol limit: 0.5 mg / ml

Bail Bond: If you encounter with an accident or major traffic issue a bail bond would be a guarantee for you. This is not a requirement in spain.

Children in cars: Children under 12 years old can not travel in the front without any restraint system. In addition passengers not over than 135 cm traveling in the rear must use safety devices and restraints.


 
 


Documentation: Make sure you have your driving licence, vehicle registration document and related insurance certificates with you. Your licence should include your photo, otherwise you must have your passport as well.

Alcohol limitaiton: Drivers with Over 0.05 % alcohol limit is subject to penalty or licence withdrawal.

Fines: On the spot fines are issued. Ensure an official receipt is issued by the officer collecting the fine.First-aid kit is recomennded, but not obligatory.

Fuel: You would find all kinds of petrol including petrol ( benzina ), diesel ( gasolio ), and LPG. You can use your credit or debit card to buy fuel for your car. It is widely accepted. In case you purchase from automatic pumps you must use cash. These pumps are available from 12 pm to 3 pm covering lunch time of gas stations.
 

 
Lights: If you are driving in early evening hours with low visibility, you should use dipped headlights.

Age limitation for driving: You must be at least 18 years old to drive car.

Replacement bulb set is compulsory.
